Does anyone know if the German collectors edition will include items in German language? Or will the book and everything still be in English?
I think it might be in German, due to stock usually being sold in it’s localised region. I’m not 100% certain though, but it’s up to you if you want to take the chance. Knowing Amazon they’ll probably say it’s in stock then just say it’s Out of Stock in a couple of hours and cancel your order haha.
I went for it, not been cancelled yet so fingers crossed. Tbh I mostly wanted the statue so I’m not overly bothered if the Journal is in German 😂
Did it get cancelled for you yet?
Got one from uk and it’s been dispatched, being delivered today
Just got mine from amazon, no delivery box stickers and tape over it and badly damaged, but Amazon did offer me £17.50 refund…… I told them to go do one 😂
Just wanted to update folks, I’ve had a response off Ubisoft regarding this edition:
While there have been occasional reports of very small, short-lived retailer restocks early on, availability is currently fully exhausted, and any further availability would depend entirely on individual retailers (for example, due to cancellations or returns), rather than a planned re-release.
First light has just dropped and you can still get collectors edition ubisoft and just a different level of scummy man, like it’s so obvious they understand the demand but rather than respect fans and just make them readily available they rather just pull this shit like they need money but rather lose out on it just to try and build hype ig 😂😂
I think the barrel has run dry, i can’t find a single one anywhere. So guess the rest of us are turbofucked?
Yep, heard there was going to be a restock by now but there’s been nothing. I’ve been playing the 360 version so no need for me to buy resynced anymore. Ubisoft missed out on that chunk of cash off me haha. Some people managed to get multiple copies of it on different platforms to sell for a profit by the looks of ebay.
Not game collection proving these sites can get extra stock but choosing to wait so they can add almost £20 to the price it’s a joke don’t understand why they can’t just get more stock from the beginning like any normal CE
I’ve been reporting the listings on ebay and a lot of them have been taken down. Even the sold listings.
Good hopefully they restock and actually fans can buy them
Me too i’ve been trying to do the same thing, keep on fighting dude!
The best is when the report says customer service agents handled it instead of the automated one, since it’s guaranteed to be taken down, they’ve got our back.
Well, looks like I’ve missed my chance for this CE through no fault of my own. Will stop checking for it to come back in stock
I’m just going to pay for Ubisoft+ for a month instead now, when I feel up to playing it. Was going to buy a whole collector’s edition but Ubisoft made that impossible for us.
Game collection ps5 just went live not even 10 seconds and it’s sold out again didnt even get to enter my details they either need a lot more stock or some sort of extra security against bots or a one customer limit because this is a joke dont see how they havent seen the demand or why they decided to get the smallest stock i’ve ever seen especially for a gams that will get them a lot of money
I wouldn’t have relied on that anyway unfortunately, it could’ve just been a mistake and they might’ve cancelled on you. Seen it a few times with restocks, people just get their orders cancelled.
Try at 12pm UK time, they put a post on Facebook saying to check that time. May not work but it’s worth a shot, hope you get one!
I ordered this straight away, and just now I got an email from Amazon cancelling my order…
Screw you Ubisoft, I’m not gonna even bother buying this POS rehash if this is how you treat customers.
“If buying isn’t owning, piracy isn’t stealing” #kidding xD
Check the ebay sold listings for this. It’s absolutely ridiculous!!
Amazon just emailed saying my PC edition has been cancelled. Ah well. XD
Same here on ps5!!
Ubisoft have now got it on their website on the page for the collector’s edition, at the bottom FAQ bit, that once your local retailers are out of stock, you won’t be able to get one at all because the quantities are limited. I’m genuinely so disappointed I’m not bothering getting the base game either now. This confirms what others were saying about them deliberately making it scarce.
Yep yet you trolls downvoted my comment… I am proud of you voting with your wallet
Saved me a bomb anyway. Was more than willing to fork the 180 for it, wasted my time searching and keeping an eye out for stock, but they deliberately limited it, so they won’t even get the 50 now. They know scalpers are a problem too, yet made no effort to avoid them.
The Curry’s link for Xbox is broken on here, it directs to an ipad instead.
They automatically redirect to other listings when the item is unavailable.
This behaviour is part of why people turn to piracy. Ubisoft could get a huge profit if they would just make more of this! The console editions can be bought, but the PC edition is already gone on Amazon…
“While we cannot comment on retailer stock levels, this product is intended to be a limited release, and unfortunately there is no expectation for future restocks.” was the response I got. Thanks Ubisoft, I just won’t bother then.
So limited non bots can’t buy it without paying extreme amounts of money to scalpers and most legitimate consumers never had a chance. Ubisoft can die into bankruptcy with disgrace
Always the same with these companies. They got their money, so they don’t care who bought it! Scalpers ruin everything, companies should have checks in place to prevent against people buying multiple like 1 per address. I don’t care if someone says they need 2 so they can keep 1 sealed. Just be happy with the 1 you’ve got, some of us aren’t even that lucky.
When is so limited and they knew it will be probably the most wanted CE for the past decade. Why did they promoted so hard like is not selling good.
Ridiculous to the max. So far just got answer that they expect more stock, but don’t know when.
Finger 🤞 everyone can get one.
Which company said that they are expecting more stock?
bestbuy and gamestop are expecting stock in the us but none of the uk companies arent saying anything except that it was extremely limited when I asked, so makes me think we’re getting shafted again
just wanted to add as well, I wrote a case to ubisoft support asking for information and whether we’ll get more stock and they’ve completely ignored me
This has to be the most ridiculous CE lunch ever. For 3 hours after the show everything was soldout and no one knows anything. Spoke with every retailer and all are saying the same they don’t know anything. Even Ubi put the blame on them as they are not dealing with CE anymore.
Pissed that GAME cancelled my pre order, I tried for 2 days to get it all for nothing.
Same here, was really looking forward to it too. Oh well, the hunt continues!
Same here
Same here, I pre-ordered mine from game too, paid in full… 5 days later i get a cancellation notice and a refund…. They did this to me last year as well with Shadows and the year before with Mirage both also CE’s however they did end up honouring them. But this time getting in contact with game just seem’s near impossible.
Is this the best website to get updates on the newest stock?
lot of salty people haha, I managed to get four copies ordered 😅 get off your arse and be faster next time
bait used to be believable
Because the idea you have of the destruction of the UK, is illegal invaders, terrorists, traffickers and fraudsters being no longer given unlimited free wealth and power as the innocent beneath them suffer at the hands of your far left fascist regime game
Why are people downvoting my comment, salty much? Luckily, Game have confirmed that my pre order is confirmed, so I don’t have to worry, luckily. My order is confirmed.
because you’re ragebaiting at this point lol, we aren’t stupid
Ubisoft have been struggling for a while, wouldn’t be surprised if this is a tactic for artificial scarcity so people jump on it and they make more money. I’m a paramedic so it wasn’t like I could stay on my phone all day hoping to order a copy, they should be made to demand.
Luckily, Game have confirmed that my pre order has not been cancelled and is confirmed. So happy this is not going to be cancelled.
We get it, you got a copy. Mine was cancelled, last time I order from Game, hope they go bankrupt.
Nice for some.
Sorry, wish mine wasn’t cancelled.
it was my nan’s dying wish to get herself a copy of this collector’s edition and look at edward as she sailed off so hope you enjoy scalper
mine was cancelled too but on very, it was going to be a surprise for my patrners birthday in july not sure whether I can get another for him xx
When was that? I ordered mine on Very Friday. Now I’m worried 😫
I ordered on the weekend for the playstation one, I think it was an error as it was out of stock for a while then went back in stock so I ordered and mine got cancelled, don’t worry I’m sure you would have had an email by now if so Alex xx
Game have just cancelled mine. They did this when Shadows came out, got it elsewhere and then they offered me to buy on release day.
I’ve played every AC game that’s come out and this is the first collector’s edition I’ve had the funds to purchase at release, and I’ve tried everywhere and can’t get a copy. Genuinely gutted. Ubisoft said they’re limited as well so who knows if we’ll get another chance, and even then people have had orders cancelled so you might miss out again. Agree with the others below complaining about scalpers, since I had a look on ebay, but I’m not paying above RRP because slimy gits took advantage… might be a fan but I’ve got limits.
Yeah, this whole situation sucks. I don’t remember it being this bad for previous releases. We just have to hope some more stock is added somewhere.
same here. the scalpers have bought them all up and retailers arent doing anything about it whatsoever.
It’s not cheap as it is, almost £200 for a collector’s edition! Scalpers are having a laugh. Must be nice to have enough expendable income to be able to buy multiple with no worries. I was going to pay monthly on mine…
Apparently they don’t. If they don’t sell the copies & pay up, the orders are cancelled. So the advice i got was to not buy from a scalper
Game just cancelled my preorder… ridiculous that they never took a proper stock count before listing the item on their site
same and i knew i shouldve bought from currys also but didnt want to be a pesky scalper
Damn… sorry to hear that. I pre ordered from game and even contacted them and my pre order is unaffected so it wont be cancelled.
Same boat here. Fingers crossed that it’s listed again somewhere else
I read somewhere that over in the US, BestBuy are expecting more stock at the end of May, so might be similar here.
Where else? I feel like most of the main retailers have them sold out, and others have said they won’t get copies.
No stock
Fake product I think
And I was right, I said game would cancel the preorder and you trolls downvoted me. I was just stating the facts
Is a fake product
I’ve just had my GAME pre-order cancelled
same here. scalpers have bought them all up. its on sale on ebay for like 100 higher than retail.
It’s disgusting how scalpers are buying these up and whapping them on ebay for profit when fans can’t even get a single one. Even worse are the idiots buying off them. Ubisoft haven’t exactly helped either.
anoys me too, if i can’t get a copy of the collectors because of scalpers then ubisoft wont get a PENNY off me even for the basic game when it comes out, their games always go to pennies anyway at some point I will just buy a used disc in a few years if I’m desperate to play or a 360 version even cheaper that one is, because its backward compatible but not buying a collector off a scalper because ubisoft so desperate for money they made it a scalpers delight
Just wanted to let people know, I asked hit and hmv if they’re getting stock and they said no x
Very just cancelled my PS5 preorder, saying they cannot supply.
I preordered as soon as it became available.
that sucks!! im hoping GAME doesnt do the same. preorders were open for a suspiciously long time
dont hold ur breath i will never order from game again after they cancelled my mgs3 delta pre orderyes they sorted it but i never got it on release
Game just cancelled mine
They definitely did more PS5 copies than anything else, it’s always in stock longer than PC and Xbox. Amazon FR out of stock on those.
PS5 and Xbox Series X Version in stock on Amazon.fr.
PS5 version live on Very FYI.
Doing my head in, I had one in my basket at curry’s for xbox and it went out of stock during checkout. Having no luck whatsoever.
Are there even any more shops that will get stock?
Managed to get one of the PC editions from Amazon after noticing the update on this website. Thanks CE.co.uk staff! <3
shipping to US is 98 from UK amazon, worth it? or pay scalper’s price?
To anyone still waiting; Curry’s UK expecting to get stock shortly on pre-order, never order from them myself they could be like GAME take your order and then cancel, worth a try maybe. Edit: Just tried for a PC one they took the order and confirm, so who knows.
sold out?
I just got mine from Currys right now
news?
U can pre order it in Game website. For Xbox and Playstation not PC
I can’t even preorder on the GAME website as I keep getting different problems like “There was a problem processing your payment, please try again or try a different payment method.”, “Something went wrong.
Please click ‘reload’ to try that again.” or “There was a problem processing your request, please try again.”
I had that and found that even though I’d entered my address, it hadn’t selected my address in the delivery thing or something so when I went back a few steps I was able to select it and then it allowed me to enter payment info.
I selected my address in the delivery thing but it still don’t let me pay I’m already on the payment info bit when I get these messages
I found out that it’s not the website its because currently I have insufficient funds for it even though from a message you sent you said it don’t come out until it’s dispatched but I’m assuming you still need enough now for it just to go through.
well obviously you need money to buy something mate??
Well James said in a previous post that they only take it out when its dispatched so I assumed you didn’t need it now just then
If you had read James’ post you’d have also seen this bit:
“When you place an order with us, your bank will put an authorisation hold of the amount against the order. This will show as a pending amount on your statement.
We will only charge you once the order has dispatched.”
😉
Finally got my Collectors Edition the main reason why I wanted to do GAME is because I could do it in monthly payments but apparently you can’t with preorders luckily Currys came in clutch having the Collectors Edition on finance.
Got the PS5 version on Game!! I’m so happy. I really didn’t think I would be able to grab one 🙂 Good luck everyone
Game has Xbox and PS5 in stock not pc (They don’t even have a pc listing so don’t waste your time with the misinformation here) PC players have got completely and utterly screwed over with almost all pc editions going to USA. I won’t be buying anything from ubisoft this was there last chance.
The bot farms down voting these comments just for pointing out a basic fact is laughable.
PS: Ubisoft has closed 85% of their operating studios down voting me won’t change this
Got my pre order on Game! Beat the scalpers and got my order
Where?
Scalpers have won on pc version. Game also will cancel the pre orders as they can’t fulfill them scalpers have won a gainst you just watch
Game has canceled pre orders for most users. Hey morons that downvoted me? Who is crying now!
Had to order mine from GAME, and ngl kinda annoyed at having to do so because they take the payment on ordering and have gone downhill a lot from when I used to order from them frequently. But a preorder is a preorder I guess. *shrug* EDIT – seems that GAME no longer take payment upon preorder like they were doing last year, so things must have changed for the company. “When you place an order with us, your bank will put an authorisation hold of the amount against the order. This will show as a pending amount on your… Read more »
GAME has them in stock atm get them while you can!!! (all editions)
Stop posting misinformation. Game only has console versions.
Game does not have all editions… Just console
They do not have all editions… Why is collectors edition allowing this misinformation to remain uncorrected
I’m just waiting to see if it comes out on GAME as i got AC Shadows Collectors Edition from GAME so I’m constantly checking.
Just letting you know (incase you don’t have updates on) it’s available on game now :)) Just got mines on PS5 with Game
Just did
It’s out in game now I just got mine
No only console versions and they won’t be able to fulfill them
italian?
Worst time to be in hosptial with no signal. Hope more is stocked
Seems ubisoft staff are disliking comments about the bankruptcy and failure of ubisoft. They are are in the verge of bankruptcy and think they can refuse to take people’s money. Let’s see how it works out for them 🤦🤦
