So I can import the PS5 version but not the xbox and it’s the same company…. literally makes no sense
Import is always an option, with PS5 and xBox Series X games being region free. This is especially straight forward with Amazon. When using the mobile app, you can change the region to U.S. while still using your account. The import process will be taken care of by Amazon, although you will be charged delivery and tax, both of which I found to be reasonable. I usually pay roughly £15 extra on top of the item’s price.
This has been working for me this way when I lived in Germany, and now here in UK as well.
