HORI has announced the Electric OCARINA OF TIME for Nintendo Switch 2, an electronic ocarina designed to work with the sound recognition feature in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Playing a song allows the Switch 2’s built-in microphone to recognise the melody and trigger the corresponding action in the game.

Designed for use with the sound recognition feature in The Legend of Zelda™: Ocarina of Time for Nintendo Switch™ 2, the Electric OCARINA OF TIME lets you interact with the game through music. When you play a song, the Nintendo Switch™ 2 system picks up the sound and triggers the corresponding in-game action.
Choose between two distinct play modes. Free Play Mode, to play notes and melodies freely, and Auto-Play Mode, which can play 12 in-game songs with the simple press of a button.
A built-in Volume Control Dial allows you to adjust the sound to your preferred level, while the headphone jack lets you connect headphones or an external speaker for a more immersive experience.

I’ve singed up for alerts on here and haven’t had a single one. Didn’t know about get until just now. It’s boiling my piss. Why is it up randomly in these retailers before Nintendo puts up a preorder!?
I’ve not had any notifications too, which is annoying, I’ve been checking every couple hours in work everday for last few weeks and missed both times it’s been in stock somehow.
Literally exactly the same with me. Been checking nintendos site and Hori and Smyths to see if it restocks or goes live since the Switch preorders went live. Put off biking it from American and Asian sites too.

Anyway, half of the people in here seem to pipe up about not wanting to open an account with Very so their loss is my gain.
Two is fine if you’re intending on keeping one to collect and wine to use or if you’re getting one for your mate etc. if you’re buying two cos they’re in demand and you figure you can make a bit of money on it then you’re scalping and everyone here hopes you get stuck with a second in you don’t need and that Nintendo and a bunch of other sites launch preorders before someone is desperate enough to buy it off you.
Well I just sold the LEGO Astro Bot which I got free with my LEGO PlayStation for 60 quid when I saw how much they’re going for on eBay and FB. Does that mean I’m guilty of reselling, sorry I’m British so I can’t be using that grating American slang term, even though I deemed it just a cool freebie originally? Anything Zelda is always sought after and scalpers are taking the absolute mick at the moment with buying up all the stock within seconds making it extremely difficult for genuine collectors to obtain anything.
